Virtual Background Mac Not Fully Eliminating Background

Hello

As you can see from the attached screenshot, when using a virtual background, Zoom isn't fully elminiating the background. The red part indicated is furniture that is sitting behind me.

What can I do to resolve this?

I've searched extensively online to find a solution, but just get articles on how to use a virtual background.

Many thanks 👍

Just as a quick note, there is not an attachment to your post that we can reference.

Some thoughts are to add or change the lighting that is in the room. Try to create some contrast between you and your background, it will help Zoom figure out the difference. In my case I simply hung a grey backdrop behind me and works perfectly. Anything that you can do to create visual separation from you and your background, using lighting, colors, object(s) simplification will help.
