Why does the user preview box go away when I share my screen with that person? Is it because I’m using the “free”version?

The person i’m on the zoom meeting with. There’s a preview box in the bottom right hand corner that shows me when I’m on the meeting with them or other people, if there are multiple users on …but when I share my screen, that box goes away and I can only hear them but no longer can see who i’m talking with. When i’ve done zoom meetings with other people, that doesn’t happen. I reached out to those people and they said they pay for zoom and I’m using the free version. So I’m thinking that’s my issue.

Ah, unfortunately, that is just a limitation of Zoom on iPads. When sharing your screen, you cannot view other's videos.

The easiest manner is to pop-out the chat right into a separate window and drag it to the aspect of the display. With the Chat window popped out for new products for boxing, you not get the popups over your Meeting.
