Hey team,

I recently purchased a usb mic and it's affecting the camera on meetings. I've used an EOS camera in the past, but now when I plug in the usb microphone in zoom keeps switching to the eos camera and is not giving me the option to select my normal laptop camera. Can anyone help with this please?

Hey @MattyNagle, from How to change default webcam in windows 10 you can try these two methods of changing the default camera:

Method 1: If the Webcam is listed under Devices and printers

  1. Update Zoom and close Zoom
  2. Press Windows key + X.
  3. Select Control Panel.
  4. Click on Devices and Printers.
  5. Check if the Logitech webcam is listed.
  6. Right-click on EOS Camera.
  7. Click on Set this device as default
  8. Reopen Zoom and check your Zoom Settings > Camera

Follow method 2 if the webcam is not listed.

Method 2: What best we can do is we can re-enabling the Internal webcam. You will be able to enable the webcam anytime you want.

  1. Update Zoom and close Zoom
  2. Press Windows + X, click Device Manager.
  3. Click Imaging devices.
  4. Right-click on the webcam.
  5. Click enable.
  6. Reopen Zoom and check your Zoom Settings > Camera
