Stopping Zoom Bombers

Thank you for your response. It would be extremely helpful if the host/co-host could screen people (at least make them turn on their camera and introduce themselves) IN THE WAITING ROOM before actually admitting them to the meeting. We have a WOMEN'S AA meeting daily. Almost every day bombers use a woman's name with camera off to get admitted into the meeting. Once they are in they turn their camera on and say & do terrible things for all to see and hear. If we could catch them in the waiting room it would be SO much better!! We do not want to make the meeting private because we want to help alcoholics who need a meeting. Screening in the waiting room would be a beneficial addition to the zoom platform.

Thank you

This is a problem for us as well. We would live even to be able to chat with people in the waiting room.

I'm wondering if a way around this would be to have the main meeting as the new waiting room, and an unlimited breakout room as the area people can then be admitted to? I'm not sure if there are breakout limitations though. Please let me know how you get on!

We have had same problem recently in many meetings. We have removed ability to rename in meeting and even ability to unmute but they still get in with fake names. I want to know how they are able to show video nasty pics on their screen. Is there a setting in security I’m missing? We have turned off ability to use videos for background so that isn’t it.
