Start Zoom Workplace when I start Windows not working for everyone

Just wondering what troubleshooting options there are for Zoom Desktop clients whereby it's not automatically opening on Windows start.  We have even applied as a Group Policy to enforce the start tick box, but we still have a random users where it doesn't and they have to manually run it (it's not running at all, not a silent start confusion)

 

This has been the case through various version of Zoom VDI 5.x and also on 6.0.x - Windows Server 2016 / 2019 for Citrix desktop.

 

Are there any caches that could potentially be cleared down that may be causing the issue / has anyone else experienced this and resolved, please?

Hi JamieH,

If auto start is setup properly you should find registry data "Zoom"="C:\Program Files\ZoomVDI\bin\Zoom.exe" under registry Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. 

You may need to check your environment and check if Zoom.exe is under related location correctly. 

(You can enable it via Zoom Client ->settings->General-> Auto-start Zoom Workplace if you have not done it)
