It appears in settings that you can only toggle recordings allowed for both host and invited or neither. Is their a way that I am missing to set for host only allowed to record?

Hi CooperAdelVu
Which kind of recording do you want to set?
For the local recording, please check this setting as attached.
For the cloud recording, the default setting is that participants need to send the request to the host,
if host granted it to the requester, then participant can take the local recording only.
Or refused to the request.
This is the sample of recording request from the participant after clicking the Record button during the meeting.
If the host un-check this option of Request Recording Permission from the Security option.
Then the participant can only click the Record button with this pop-up, no request will be sent to host as above.
The participant need to request in other ways for enabling the local recording.
Please try it.
