Screen sharing Mac

Hi community,

When I share the screen as host and want to show a document to the participants (I have a number of open documents ready on the screen), I do not see the same document as the participants. They see the document I want to show them, I see another one.
What can be the reason for this!

Hey @marcvalane, when you share the screen are you sharing from Basic --> Desktop or Opened Application? 

Or are you sharing a portion of the screen of only the files? 

Or are you sharing files from Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, or SharePoint? 

Whatever way your sharing screen the participants will see within the meeting. However, be aware of pausing while screen sharing, as it will 'freeze' to the document or whatever you may have open and sharing which maybe what you're experiencing?

Every time I try to share on my Mac desktop, it just shows the screen saver. When it would tell me to change settings, Zoom never showed up in a setting to change (assuming I was in the correct setting. Help!
