Salesforce creating duplication events

I integrated zoom with salesforce and every time a sales rep. create an event and add a zoom link to it a second event is created as well. How can I solve this?

we have this issue as well currently! just started happening but we also use mulesoft so we're looking at the API string/call. just commenting in solidarity.
