Remaining 10-minute timer doesn't count down

Using the Basic (free) Plan, when the meeting reaches 10 minutes left, a little timer appears at the top of the screen saying there's 10 minutes left. But then the 10:00 doesn't count down, it just stays stuck on 10:00.

It has happened a number of times now on this new computer. 

The meetings were hosted by another person on the Basic Plan. Other participants were able to see the countdown properly.

 

Zoom desktop client, version 5.17.0 (28375)

Windows 11 (version 22H2)

Dell Inspiron 16 Plus 7620 laptop

This is still a problem for me. It has been going on for several months.

Same problem. My colleagues have MacBook. Countdown works fine on their MacBooks. Embarrassing.

I've been having this issue on my new iPad. Other participants can see the timer but I don't have one. Last time I used my laptop the timer worked, but the video quality is so much better on the iPad, I hate to go back. But where's the "10 minutes left" timer?
