On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Recording button only gives option of recording on the cloud

When I am ready to record a meeting, I press the "record button" . The only option it gives is " record to the cloud" and no option to "record to my computer " .  Sometimes, I don't want to use the cloud recording. When I go to settings and turn off the cloud recording, the record button on my meeting turns off completely.  I have tried using a Chromebook,  an apple iPad and my android phone. No luck.

Thank you for sharing your concern. May we please know if you're part of an office or an organization's Zoom account? If yes, your admin might have set it up where you cannot record and save it in your local computer.
