Recording an interview

Hi all!

I am conducting an interview as a host. I would like to record only the participant, as I don't need to be in the interview. Can someone walk me through my settings for that kind of set-up?  I did it once by mistake but would prefer to know how to do it again.  My goal is to record the participant the whole time, even when I am talking.  I am fine to turn off my camera if that helps the process.

Thx in advance.

@GoldCrow - Before you start the recording, if you either Pin the interviewee or Hide self-view and then record locally, the interviewee will be all you see, and the recording will record exactly what you see on your screen.  Otherwise, you can Spotlight the interviewee and record locally or to the cloud, but in this situation the interviewee would also only see themselves, and that makes for a weird interview experience.

Thanks so much for these tips.  I really appreciate it and will let you know how it goes with it.  🙂
