Recording Zoom Meetings

I do not have a paid zoom acct.  Is it possible for me to record meetings??  Is there a way to tell if the meeting is being recorded?  Is it up to the moderator to send you a copy of the recording, or can I access it myself before leaving the meeting?

Yes, free users can record, but only locally to their computer. This article has info about how to do that: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4403190845069

If a meeting is being recorded by anyone, there will be a recording notification in the top-left corner of the screen.

Recordings are not available until after the session has ended, so if the host recorded the session, they would need to wait until the meeting is over and email or message you a link to the recording.
