Hi!
The "raise your hand" button is missing for me...
When I click on the participants button, I should be able to raise my hand by a button on the bottom of the list of the participations but there is no such button, only to unmute me and to invite someone to the session. Does anyone know where this button is in my case?
Kind regards!

I have this same issue. The Raise Hand button is not visible. I followed the steps in the article mentioned by Bri but that seems to only address Reactions and says nothing about enabling the Raise Hand feature. Others on my calls are able to raise their hand but I cannot. Something must have changed in my configuration because I used to be able to do this. Any advice?

I just went through all the in meeting settings–and I don't have any reference to show raised hand in tool bar.
I've also updated my zoom software–this is such a bummer.

Finally a response that works! THANK You. Finding this setting was confusing. Here's how I located it.
1. Opened Zoom in my browser.
2. from the left side panel, scrolled down to and selected "Settings"
3. Once opened, go to the top bar to find the "Meeting" tab and click on it
4. Once opened, there's another side bar - click on In Meeting (Basic)
5. Scroll down to "Show raised hand in toolbar"
😅

Hi @Jrain100 Thank you for providing steps to activating hand gestures via the web browser! I would also like to add that you can enable gesture recognition in the Zoom app by following the steps outlined here: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0067842
In short, you can enable gesture recognition in the Zoom App > Settings > General > Reactions. I have attached a screenshot below:
Hope this helps!

Where do you find that menu, please?
I would really like to get the button back and not have to wave like an idiot or press Alt-Y. I feel like I'm back teaching Wordperfect 5.1 with memorizing all the key combinations...

Once in the meeting,
3 Ways to do it:
1st WAY:
a. Click on the Reactions button (Smiley) on the toolbar below | the one in between sharescreen and apps buttons. Don't click on ^ (Circumflex / Caret next to it).
b. Small pop up appears above the button. It will contain Raise Haind button. Click on the same.
c. Once raised a pop up containing Lower Hand appears.
2nd WAY:
a. Alt+Y
b. Once raised a pop up containing Lower Hand appears.
3rd WAY:
a. Click on the ^ (Circumflex / Caret) next to the Smiley in the Reactions button.
b. Enable Recognize Hand Gestures
c. Raise your hand physically with the palm facing the camera and hold it in place for about 5 seconds. Software recognizes and raises the hand for you in the meeting. Buffer period of roughly 4-5 seconds is indicated on the screen. Rarely, the virtual or blurred background may interfere with gesture recognition. Keep trying.
d. Once raised a pop up containing Lower Hand appears.

Zoom have messed up the raise hand as it can be in many different places now.
Also wherever your raised hand is . A message is coming up a few seconds after...
""Looks like your done talking we will lower your hand in seconds"" Zoom are not dealing with the problem ....

...and suddenly the Hand came back, even as it's own category. I take it and now have Alt Y as backup in case it changes again.

I have the same issue. Clicking the "More..." button only gets me "Record, Reset to Default, Transcript, Notes, Docs, Captions" as choices. The Zoom host is not blocking this, as others on the meeting are able to "Raise Hand." All my other buttons are working fine; this is the only one missing. I just upgraded Zoom today, and it didin't help.

I agree - very frustrating. I have done all the updates and looked everywhere discussed. Of course, the meeting is now over. So, is there any way to search for/confirm this elusive feature's setting in the (desktop Mac) app when NOT actually in a meeting?

Yay! Success! I was on a Zoom just now, and when I clicked on "Reactions," there was a new choice: "Hand gestures," that wasn't there before. It's not what I had before the latest update, but it's THERE: I could actually Raise my Hand! I'll try it again in my next Zoom, to confirm.
