Private channels within the call for pair and group discussions, but not breakout room

Does anyone know if it would be possible to have the call with my group of students, but instead of sending them to breakout rooms, I could keep everyone within the main call, and I could create private voice channels between students and groups, which I can easily switch between or even listen and talk to all at once, or per group?
