One Student's Chat Never Visible

I have one student who is one of most dedicated to school, so I was surprised that he would never answer questions in the chat. After weeks of this, he said one day when I had praised those who had answered, "did you see my response?" I figured out that day that I never see chat responses from just that one student. Anyone have any ideas why or what we can do? It's super weird and frustrating and I can't find it as a support topic anywhere.

I'm having the same issue! There's one student whose messages aren't getting to me. They are sending to other students; students can see their messages in the Everyone chat, but I'm neither getting whispers nor able to see their main chats. We only realized this earlier this month, I'm not sure how long it's been ongoing.
