I'm setting up a new laptop and I've been told by other call participants that, when using Zoom, the level of the first couple of seconds of my speech is often barely audible, then usually kicks in much higher. For example, if I count to ten "1, 2, 3" is faint, "4 etc." perfectly audible. There's no such problem on my old laptop (both Dells, though different models), and I've tried to match the audio settings but without resolving the issue. I haven't encountered this problem on the new laptop if using other video calling apps, such as Teams or Whereby. I've now listened to a call from someone else using my problematic laptop and the level will suddenly drop or suddenly come back to normal with no discernible pattern. This can happen close to or far away from the computer. I updated the version earlier today. Any ideas?
