Microphone not working after updating desktop app

Recently updated Zoom Desktop App  (windows 10) and now Zoom will not recognize any microphone.  Have tried 3 different microphones and none are recognizedin the app.  However, if joining from the web on the PC there are no issues.  Ran the clean uninstall and reinstalled, but it still does not work.

No issues with microphone when using other applications such as Microsoft Teams, and Zoom Web version.  Reached out to our Zoom Account rep and have not heard back, so any suggestions, insight, is greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem here and no support from ZOOM side up till now.

I too tried the complete uninstall including ZoomClear + reinstall.

The problem is manifest on two HP laptops with Win10, but not on a Lenovo with Win11.

 

Has anbody encountered this, too?

I am the original poster.  Even after reaching out to our Zoom rep (business customer), we couldn't solve the issue.  A few weeks after posting we upgraded the PC to Windows 11, ran the clean uninstall, and reinstalled the issue was resolved.  I should mention, we didn't test after just upgrading to Windows 11.  Maybe it would have worked with out having to uninstall/reinstall again.
