Microphone Not Working

My microphone has suddenly stopped working.  Getting message  "Failed to detect your microphone"  "There seems to be an issue with your microphone."  It worked fine last week - have NOT done anything to change things since then.  Can anyone help?  I have a zoom job interview in 6 hours!!

"Failed to detect your microphone"

I am getting the message "Failed to detect your microphone"  This just happened and I made no changes to the system. Does anyone know what has changed in Zoom?

Same problem. Stopped recognizing my microphone 2 weeks ago - the headset speakers work fine. Updated to latest version of Zoom and still no microphone. Nothing physically wrong. What to do next?

First restart your computer. Then unplug and plug in your microphone. Make sure its set as the default device. Go to Zoom settings and test your mic. If it still does not work. You can also check sound settings on your PC

Some time we face this problem just check your internet connection and PC sound settings.
