Meetings wont connect

I have restarted and updated,  my laptop, I have uninstalled and reinstalled zoom, and done everything I can that has been written about to get zoom to work on my laptop. I cannot get a connection to any meetings. It works perfectly fine on my phone. As a student, I NEED zoom to work. I'm not sure what else to do here. It also won't let me update the zoom app. It just says check version failed.

I'm having the same problem as JCC15 and my laptop has been updated. Anymore suggestions
