If a meeting owner cannot attend, how can a participant start the meeting after transferring ownership?

Hey @Laura14, the meeting Host would need to Designate an alternative host, start the meeting and re-assign the hosting role, or reschedule the meeting.

This is SO inconvenient.  Is there a way for the host to not be present at the start of the meeting?

If the host has scheduled the meeting with Join Before host enabled and waiting room disabled, then anyone can join and start the meeting, although only the host would have host controls.

I agree.  Any admin on our account should be able to open any meeting.  This has been a serious problem for our business.
