Joining meetings

Hi!! So i send out my calendar link and try to join the meeting but i keep getting "waiting for the host to start the meeting" but I am the host. Why is this happening? How do I fix this?

Make sure you log in through the Zoom Workplace app on your desktop prior to clicking on the meeting link. You are likely getting stuck because Zoom is reading you as a random participant rather than your account.

I am signed in to zoom workspace everytime but what I did instead was unlink my calendly from zoom and used the custom setting and pasted my zoom link in so hopefully that works
