I'm currently running Zoom Client 5.8.3 (145). During a meeting when searching through participants the cursor focus constantly switches to the list itself rather than staying in the search box. This makes finding specific participants very difficult when spotlighting or verifying attendance. The search box loses focus when a new participant enters the meeting and appears to happen once I have entered a few letters in the search box. The issue has been present on Manjaro 21.1.6 (Arch Based) and MX Linux-21 (Debian Based). Both distros were using KDE Plasma as the desktop environment.
This reddit post has another user with the same issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/Zoom/comments/ntkj71/issue_with_participant_list_on_arch_linux/
I know the user base for Linux distros is smaller so appreciate any work done to resolve this behavior so it more closely matches Windows and MacOS.
Solved! Go to Solution.
