As far as I can see the Zoom Installer requires a full installation on the local computer.

 

is there a stand alone/portable Zoom package which can be run from USB Flash drive?

On the download page in the Top right.. There is a drop down under "Download for IT Admin" I think this is what you are looking for. Sometimes the page starts lower so you have to scroll up.

There are NO portable packages.

 

All of them are *.MSI packages which require full installation

 

So the question is still unanswered

No, I am not aware of any portable installer.
