Intruder Took Control, Draws on Screen

I was presenting a Keynote presentation last night, using their Zoom account. An "intruder" logged on, froze my slideshow, and was able to "draw" on the screen for all to see. What settings are involved to NOT have that occur? (1) What should I tell future clubs to do on THEIR end, and (2) what should I do on MY end?

  1. Look at Zoom Annotation. Turn off annotation for others. Here's a link:

  2. Turn on the Waiting Room feature
  3. Require Authentication
  4. Ideally Require Registration to the meeting. Here is a link to best practices for managing a Zoom meeting.
