Interpretation and Chromebooks

We've used Chromebooks in the past for our classes where we use interpretation channels. We are running into a problem now with our recent purchase of some Chromebooks that are now not allowing interpretation feature. We downloaded the PWA Chromebook app and it still is not appearing on the screen. Suggestions for what we can do to access interpretation?

Google is phasing out ChromeOS apps across all operating systems by November 5, 2022.

I can not give you an quick fix for this problem, but the aforementioned information is a sign, that chromebooks are not going to be useable in the near future.
