Inconsistent access to emojis in chat

I am able to use emojis šŸ˜Š in the chat feature while in most meetings, but there are a few hosted by others in which I am unable to do so. I originally thought that the host had turned off emojis for everyone, but others have been able to use them without issue.

I am not a part of an organization or group with specific chat parameters so I am at a loss as to the cause or even steps to fix this.

Here are the steps that I've taken to fix the issue so far: 

  • Checked all settings (both on the local client and the superuser account)
  • Reviewed the boards for ideas
  • Asked chatbot
  • Checked for updates
  • Uninstalled/reinstalled client on my PC

I am running Zoom Workplace Pro and it has been updated to current version 6.1.0.
Device is a PC Running Windows 11 fully updated as of 7-19
