Hi, during work meetings, without me having changed anything in the settings, suddenly the thumbs up icon pops up (apparently in response to some hand gesture that I make). At other times, baloons starts streaming from the "ceiling" of my window. These are completely inappropriate for the types of meeting that I am conducting and I'm not successful in finding way of disabling them (I don't even know what triggers these "features.")

Hello,
Zoom uses what the operating system and hardware provide. Turn it off in the Apple Control Centre.
Reactions, overlays and effects when video conferencing on Mac
Use Reactions, Presenter Overlay, and other effects when videoconferencing on Mac
macOS includes a variety of video and audio features that you can use in FaceTime and many other videoconferencing apps.
Reactions
Requires macOS Sonoma or later on a Mac with Apple silicon, or macOS Sonoma or later on a Mac using Continuity Camera with iPhone 12 or later.
Reactions fill your video frame with a 3D effect expressing how you feel. To show a reaction, make the appropriate hand gesture in view of the camera and away from your face. Hold the gesture until you see the effect.
To turn this feature on or off, select Reactions in the Video menu , which appears in the menu bar when a video call is in progress. To show a reaction without using a hand gesture, click the arrow next to Reactions in the menu, then click a reaction button in the submenu.

I noticed the same issue with my zoom meetings on machines where I use the zoom client. I was able to easily turn it off. I am having the same problem with a zoom room in the main conference room of my work. I don't know how to disable since it doesn't seem to be a system preference. Zoom room only works in full screen. Has anyone had luck disabling on a zoom room device? Or, do I need to just downgrade the OS to remove this feature on the zoom room hardware machine?

Yes, I want to switch it off permanently. I work as a therapist and having balloons pop up is sooooo inappropriate! Anyone know how to permanently delete the balloons and thumbs up please? Not just each meeting as I work as an online therapist - full time. It would be helpful to disable completely. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance.
