How to present in person with some participants remote

I've been asked to conduct inperson training and set up a Zoom meeting to allow some participats to participate remotely.  Can I do that and if so, how?

It all depends on the hardware you have to work with. At a minimum, you could use a laptop and face it towards your presentation so the remote users can see and then ask them to use the raise hand function to be called upon. It's not the best situation but is minimalistic hardware-wise.

I liked the comment made on Alex Lindsay's Office Hours a day or so ago... someone was quoting a company that made the policy, "One on Zoom... ALL on Zoom".  You probably can't push back on hybrid all the time, but it definitely sets up an "us vs. them" view of the presentation.

It CAN work when only the presenters are together, and all attendees are on Zoom.  But there's a lot to be said against having participants live and participants remote.
