On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

How to give a screen permission to co-host?

Hello, I'm a host to arrange the meeting. I'd like to know if there's a way I can allow screen sharing to co-host or some participants without my presence in the meeting? Also, how to set as default? Right now I have to join the meeting every time to give the permission to a person I'd like to.  Thanks for your help.

If you trust ALL participants to use the screen share appropriately then

enable the screen sharing feature for all members of your organization:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Basic), click the Screen sharing toggle to enable it.
  5. If a verification dialog displays, click Enable to verify the change.
  6. Be sure remote support is disabled
  7. Under who can share select all participants
  8. Under who can start sharing when someone else is sharing select all participants

Thanks so much for your reply. I'd like to know that if I only can give the permission to co-host or some participants?

Hello, I can't find no. 4 sharing toggle. What should I do next?
