How to enable polling

I can't for the life of me find the polling option. I've watched videos on YouTube and asked for help from the automated Zoom assistant, but I do not seem to have the polling option under basic meeting options (or any options I saw). I have the latest version of Zoom, but I have the free version. Does anyone know what the problem is? Thanks in advance.

Polls are not available in the free version.

As @Ohkawa stated, there are limitations for using the polling feature in Zoom:

• Host user type must be Licensed (Not included in the Basic/free plan) 
• Zoom desktop client for Windows, macOS, or Linux, version 5.4.7 or higher; or Zoom web client 
• The meeting must be either a scheduled meeting or an instant meeting using your Personal Meeting ID
