Did break out room not record?

At the beginning of a meeting, in the main room, I tested the zoom recording by starting and stopping a recording. Then, when we went into breakout rooms, it said the breakout room meeting was recording, but the local file saved of the recording is only my 3 second recording in the main room, not the break out room recording. How can I recover the breakout room recording?

Breakout room recording requires an in room participant to make a computer recording after the host gives permission. Breakout rooms are never recorded as a part of the MAIN recording.
