Custom Cursor Display Issue During Screen Sharing

I am encountering an issue with screen sharing in Zoom when using a third-party application with a custom cursor. Whenever the host shares their screen, the custom cursor from the third-party application is always displayed on the participant's side. This behavior persists irrespective of the application.

I have attached a sample video link for your reference.

Please check this issue and let me know.

This custom cursor issue also reproduces with the MS Paint app.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Zoom and start a meeting.
  2. Use a third-party application that implements a custom cursor. use this custom cursor at host side
  3. Share your screen using Zoom at host side.
  4. Observe the participant's side custom cursor is stay open.

Expected Behavior: The custom cursor should not be displayed on the participant's side unless intentionally shared.

Actual Behavior: The custom cursor from the third-party application is always displayed on the participant's side.
