Clicker for Presentation Doesn't Work When Hide Zoom Floating Control Panel

When doing in-person/virtual presentations via Zoom and hide the zoom floating control panel, the clicker for the computer to advance the slides doesn't work. However, when the floating computer panel is showing, it does work. Any fix for this other than not hiding the control panel?
