Camera Quality blurry and slow on PWA Chromebook App - Acer 314 Chromebook laptop

Hello,

I am really struggling using Zoom on this chromebook (bought new recently). The camera on the device is great, and really good quality on Hangouts or Teams. But on Zoom, it is incredibly choppy and has low resolution, which makes it hard to use consistently in work. It also freezes briefly when turning camera on/off or moving to a new screen. I have searched. I am unsure how to improve this, so would appreciate any help.
