Audio Disconnects Frequently

Hello. A school I work with has an Issue with their Acer Chromeboxes where during meetings after initially joining computer audio it will say "Your browser is preventing access to your microphone." However I have gone in and turned on microphone allowed on in chrome settings and the issue still occurs. I have updated the devices to the newest version and have even factory reset on to troubleshoot with no success. These Chromeboxes are plugged into TV's with a webcam so there is no microphone to begin with. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. This is on the browser version of Zoom since there is no desktop version for chrome.

You may be experiencing the fact that Zoom changed its support.

" the company decided last year [2021] to deprecate its Chrome Web Store app in favor of its shiny, new Progressive Web App"

Hello,

Zoom expects to detect a microphone. Perhaps you can install a virtual microphone if a physical microphone is not possible?
