There are at least two issues when annotating a window screen-shared by a Wayland (Linux) user.

I am experiencing both of these bugs as well. Also, it happens when using zoom via Xorg too, so it doesn't seem wayland specific. I'm using Fedora 36 with Gnome.

It doesn't work for me, either. I haven't seen any annotations come up at all when I shared a window. It is very frustrating when trying to collaborate with coworkers.

I also have this bug. Please update Linux client to use Wayland libraries when available. Linux IS moving to the Wayland compositor.

Doesn't work on Fedora 41, Gnome 47 Wayland session. Zoom 6.2.11.5069 (rpm package)
