Dear Zoom Support,
I am a licensed paid Zoom host, and I am experiencing a serious issue with annotation tools on the Android app.
I no longer have access to the Text (T) tool or the full set of 12 colours when annotating while sharing my screen.
My annotation options are now limited to Pencil, Spotlight, Pen, Highlighter, Line, Rectangle, Oval, Undo, Redo, Clear, and only 5 colours (yellow, green, red, blue, black).
This happens on both my Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and Samsung Galaxy A73 phone.
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom, but the issue remains.
Strangely, my students still have access to the Text tool and more colours on their devices, while I do not, even though I am the paying licensed host.
This problem makes it very difficult to run my classes, as I rely on annotating shared documents (not the whiteboard).
Please can you confirm if this is a bug or an intentional change to mobile annotation tools? If it is intentional, it seems unfair that licensed hosts on Android have fewer options than participants.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
Nicki Goldsmith
