Adding Participants to Zoom Meeting via Phone Call

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I have a question regarding our regular Zoom events. We often have an event where we use a sound system, cameras, and a laptop to broadcast via Zoom. Participants join both through their computers and by phone.

I have a situation where an elderly participant would like to attend, but they are not comfortable with using a computer or phone to join(might be too complicated for them to type meeting ID and pin, just having an old phone, so no mobile fast joining number). Is there a way to add this person to the Zoom meeting using their phone number? Essentially, can they be called and simply pick up the phone to join the meeting?

I appreciate any insights or suggestions you might have on this matter. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello,

The Host account licence will need to be Pro or above.

The host will need to purchase an add on called an Audio Plan.

The host will need to permission from the account admin to use Call out to invite others by phone.
