When I an recording a zoom call in meetings and webinars there and sharing my screen there is always a black screen that appears/ Why is that?

What does it take to not have the back screen interfere with my sharing presentation?

Is the whole screen black - or are there just black boxes over some parts of the screen?

 

If the latter, you may want to try un-checking "Show my Zoom Windows to other participants..." in your local Zoom settings, under Share Screen:

@Rupert there are black boxes however what you suggested to uncheck is not an option for me to check but not sure why.
