What is the difference between j and s which is include in the zoom link

There are two participation links for a single webinar.

 

https://zoom.us/j/00000000000 and https://zoom.us/s/00000000000

 

I think that j link is for attendee and s link  is for hosts.

 

Is this perception correct? If I am wrong, please let me know.

@AikoTsujimoto19 very close in your understanding.  The /s/ is to start the meeting, requiring you to be either the host or alternate host.  The /j/ is a direct join of the meeting, so it skips the browser and opens the client directly.

HI Colegs,

In my experience, when clicking on a link with /j/ I still have the option to open it in either Zoom client or Browser.

I also wonder if /j/ and /s/ apply to the Webinar link.
