How can I give someone a free link to a paid Webinar?

Hey there!

I am hosting paid webinars this month. I want to provide some supporters a free link to attend my webinar without having to pay. I do not have Zoom Events which apparently offers an option to do this. I only the Zoom webinar and a pro account and trying to figure out a solution without needing to pay another account. I tried sending my friend the link that is generated on the calendar invite but when she clicked on it, it made her register and pay.

I am accepting payment via PayPal and I do not think I can create a code to override the $10 charge. I am just a bit stumped on this and trying to provide some people a free invite to my webinar.

Thanks!

Hi,

You’re correct that Zoom Webinars only allows you to choose between paid or not paid options. For more advanced ticketing features, like creating different types of tickets (e.g., free tickets), you would need to use our Zoom Events platform.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @budgetbb.

Here’s an option for you:

  • Go to the Webinars section in the Zoom web portal and select the scheduled webinar
  • Navigate to the Invitations tab and click Manage Attendees.
  • Use the option to manually add a registrant by entering their details, such as name and email

Ray -- check out the GoodClix website or the Z-SPAN website.

The only options I see when I get to manage attendees is to export list or edit, When I click on edit there is no option for me to add someone's info and essentially register them. It shows approved/ denied or blocked. No where to add someone's info to connect them to the class.
