Custom recurring webinars?

Is there not a way to set up a webinar with custom recurrence?  Example, 1st Thursdays and 3rd Fridays?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @jefblack.

Well, yes and no.

There’s no way to accommodate everyone’s custom requirements at the time of webinar creation, but I’m sure you understand that already. The trick, then, is to be creative.

Once you create a series, you can go in and edit their dates/times individually. When you go to edit the webinar, you are prompted:

Make sure you pick the session with the date you want to change, and select Edit This Occurence

if you wanted 1st Thursdays and 3rd Fridays for a year, you could pick “every 2 weeks for 24 occurrences”, then go in and edit the dates. A little time consuming, perhaps, but gets the job done and uses only one link for all sessions.

Be warned: If you go in and Edit All Occurrnces and change ANY part of the recurrence parameters, Zoom will likely reset all of your meetings to the specified sequence.

If you’re a Zoom heavy user setting up meetings within your company, I’d just set up two recurring webinars, one on 1st Thursdays and another on 3rd Fridays, since most people will join directly from their Zoom or external calendar. Might not work week for mostly-external attendees.
