Video quality in the cloud

Good afternoon! We had a webinar for 3 days in a row. I downloaded the conference recordings from the cloud. On the first and third day, the recording quality was poor, but on the second day, the recording quality was good. I need the recording quality to always be good. How can this be done?"

Hi GivingSchool,

Thank you for joining the Zoom Community!

Cloud recording quality depends on your settings and connection. To keep it consistently high:

  1. Enable HD video
  2. Use a stable, high‑speed connection – Poor bandwidth lowers recording quality.
  3. Check cloud recording settings – Choose your preferred layout and enable Optimize for 3rd‑party video editor for less compression.
  4. Avoid host changes or reconnects – These can start new, lower‑quality recordings.

If issues persist, share the meeting IDs with Zoom Support so they can review the logs.

Yes I also face this low video quality issue during recording. Is this any possible way to better the video quality?
