On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Allow prompting Companion AI to make specific meeting note format

Zoom should allow us to prompt Companion AI so that all meetings summaries are done in a specific format. Currently, we have to take either the transcript or the generic zoom summary and run it through a co-pilot agent we made to get it formatted the way we like.

@AJ247 , you can do this today a few different ways.  I would suggest the ability to modify a Meeting Summary in a Template or Custom format with the use of Zoom Docs through a custom prompt.  It works great, because your Meeting Transcript can be selected as a drop down and you can write any prompt you would like to customize the summary and even use Generative AI to create content with the transcript as well.

Also, we announced the release of Custom AI Companion coming in April that would allow you to create a customized template for your summaries that appears the same every time.  Check with your account team to learn more on Custom AI Companion.

I walk through a few examples here in this video of how you can customize meeting summaries to your preference.

And here is how you can add a meeting transcript to a doc in order to create your own custom summaries (even combining multiple meetings at a time).
