Invitation link with uname doesn’t work on mobile

We're trying to add the user’s email to the invitation link (ex.: https://mycompany.zoom.us/j/123456789?uname=bob@acme.com).

Works fine on desktop. On mobile (iOS 14 & 15), the Zoom app on mobile starts, then redirects to the mobile browser. Any idea how to work around this?

PS:  We’re using the Zoom application. We have no control over which device the user chooses (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS, Linux, etc), we don’t know if the app is already installed or not (therefore we can’t use a URL starting with zoomus://), and don’t want to send multiple links or instructions. It needs to be a “one-fits-all” meeting URL.

Hi @patrickd

For something like this to work reliability, you would need to register your participants so that they get a tk (or token) unique join-link.
