change ownership

i need to change ownership on a pro account but first it says I need to buy another license to add a user to make admin?  is that correct?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @gkarl9816.

 

There is no requirement that an Admin or Owner be Licensed (paid/Pro account). You do need to have another user (email address) invited (and accepted) into your account. At that point, you’ll have your original user – the current owner - and another user with no privileges. Before you can change the new user to Owner, you must assign them as an Admin in the Admin -> User Management -> Roles menu. Once that is done, you can change account ownership.
