Trying to update on windows

I'm feeling so frustrated I could cry.  I can't use zoom properly because it needs to update.  I use the chat bot, follow ALL the instructions but still can't update.  I try to call, but it sends me in a spin trying to find numbers, and then I have to end them with the pound sign, which I can't find on my phone!  What an absolute farce!!!   I can't get hold of ANYONE to help, and I'm feeling extremely frust

By pound they mean # sign, which should be easily accessible on any modern phone or most DTMF keypads. Maybe you misunderstood it and were looking for a British pound (£)? 😉
