Profile picture keeps reappearing and can not be deleted!

Every time I delete the profile picture, Zoom only temporary hides it. At the next login (I enter with Gmail ) it is there again. I would like Zoom to display only my initials without any profile picture, but that doesn't work.

How can I prevent that?
