Duplicate user group settings to a new group

When creating a new user group, I want to use all of the settings for an existing user group as a starting point and then tweak. However, I cannot find any way to duplicate or clone a group or to copy one group's settings to another. Am I missing something, or do I really need to load the group pages side by side to compare?

Is it possible to setup User Group templates?

We will appreciate if this can be achieve. We have more than 200 groups and need to duplicate the settings for 70 groups. This feature should be exist long ago.
