On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Disable Face Analyzing Permission

Hello, I have allowed Face Analyzing when I wanted to try a bunny filter on my face. It was fun. Now I would like to undo that permission as It's a privacy concern for me. I have put A LOT of time trying to find out how to do that- searching the settings and online. This is unbelievably complicated/ simply impossible. I was not able to find anything related.

Any help appreciated, Thanks.

Hello @saltshaker

Welcome to Zoom Community!

It's unclear to me whether you are referring to the use of the bunny avatar or the bunny rabbit video filter. For either, you can return to Background & Effects under Settings and click the None box at the beginning of the corresponding category. Nothing is saved unless you've created a custom avatar.

If you've created and saved a custom avatar, simply hover your cursor over the avatar, and you will see "...". Click the three dots, and select Delete to remove the avatar.

I hope this was helpful. Learn more about backgrounds, filters, and virtual avatars here.

Cheers!
